Path-Following Control for Thrust-Vectored Hypersonic Aircraft

Thrust vector control (TVC) might be used to aircraft at large altitudes and in post-stall conditions when aerodynamic surfaces are ineffective. This study demonstrated that the implementation of TVC on high-speed is a reasonable solution an alternative compared complicated reaction system or surfaces. The numerical flight dynamics model X-15 experimental was developed implemented MATLAB/Simulink then investigate proposed solution. obtained results indicate aircraft, equipped with full 3D thrust vectoring two independent horizontal stabilizers roll angle, able achieve along path defined by set waypoints. paper also highlights potential benefits challenges using as method for aircraft. this contribute growing body research simulation. Future work can explore use other unique configurations low maneuverability features.
